We're tinged with a bit of sadness at seeing Danyl leave, but at the same time we know it's just the start of his career, and we're confident he's going to be around for a long, long time. Simon Cowell, speaking on the X-Factor after the show, promised it would not be the end of Danyl, and hinted that he may be signing him to his record label.
Danyl, well done in reaching the semi's, we wish you all the best! Here's to your debut album this time next year!

Danyl.. you were definetly the best this season! Can't wait for your album to come out. One of the guests on the show said it right.. you are a WORLD artist on par with Leona whereas the rest will most likely make it only in the UK with one hit wonders. I believe Cheryl was definetly jealous of your talent. I noticed she hadn't been in any of your pre-performance videos and also the post analysis. The only thing that brought her to stardom is her good looks but when it comes to singing.. she sucks. Her music barely works without a synthesiser for her voice. She is quite a spoilt brat off camera as I have had the pleasure of meeting her and find her comments quite hypocritical. Anyways mate.. all the best and all the sucess in the world. Looking forward to your album which I believe will be bigger than any of the winner albums that will come out of this show.

Don't mind what people said about your performances being arrogant - that was just pure star quality shining through - you have natural talent in every fibre of your being and you are meant to be a performer. You were the winner right form the word go Danyl.I wish you every success for the future, although i doubt very much if you will need it. Cant wait for the albumn to come out! The x factor is finished for me as i cant see the point in watching it now there is no talent in it. Good luck Danyl and make them eat thier words....BIG TIME!!! Love you loads x x

I agree with one of the other posts, the X Factor has finished for me now that you are gone. I voted for you several times and was certain, after your last performance, that you would be in the final. As for your, so called, arrogance, I never saw it, you were a star to the end. I will buy anything you record because you were defo the best this season. Good luck for the future.

I agree with some of the statements in that I feel you were the best contestant and should be in the final but not much point complaining now. You have a lot of fans Ireland who cannot wait for the tour and your career which WILL follow. Cheryl was so annoying in that she could not say how fantastic you were nor how you deserved to be in the final. I understand that maybe she wasnt your number one fan but should be professional enough to recognise talent and comment on it. If not maybe she shouldnt be doing the job
danyl yiu were the best talent this year and i dont know what was uo with the three stooges. there is that lui who has west life, who only make remakes sorry he has west life oh and he has west life, there is danni who has taken it out on you i feel because of simon taking it to a public vote over lucy. i was a fan of hers and championed her corner when she has had the hard time from the press, then there is cheryl who has been carried by the rest of the girls in the group and now thinks she is better than anyone,and she has no talent so how can she judge anyone!and why is she glued to simon? you were the best on the show there loss now. now get down to making a album for your fans around the world
